2 cups besan

1 cup whipped curd

1 tsp green chili-ginger paste

1 tsp mustard seeds

2 tbsp oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp baking soda

coriander leaves for garnishing

Method of Besan Dhokla-

Blend gram flour and curd in some high-temperature water in a bowl. 

Blend it well so that no irregularities stay in it.

Now add salt to it and let it ferment for four hours.

Now, add turmeric and green chili-ginger paste and mix it.

Now heat the steamer and grease the plate lightly with oil.

Combine baking soda, lemon juice, and a teaspoon of oil in a small bowl.

Pour this mixture into the prepared batter and whisk well.

Put this mixture on a plate and keep it in the steamer.

Cover with a lid and let the steamer cook for ten minutes or till the dhoklas are cooked well.

When it chills off, cut it into square pieces.

Now it's time to prepare the tempering.

For this, heat oil in a tadka pan and crackle mustard seeds. Also, add green chilies to it.

Now add some water to it and pour it over the dhokla.

Your besan dhokla is ready.

You can eat it like this or you can serve it with chutney.

Ingredients of Besan Toast-

1/2 large finely chopped onion

1/2 cup besan

salt to taste

water as required

Oil

finely chopped tomatoes

finely chopped green capsicum

finely chopped coriander leaves

1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste

red chili powder as per taste

1/4 tsp garam masala powder

1/8 tsp turmeric

How to make Besan Toast-

Besan toast is very easy to make. For this, first, take a mixing bowl.

Mix gram flour, onion, capsicum, tomato, red chili powder, green coriander, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric, and salt in this bowl.

Now add some water to it so that a smooth batter is made.

However, keep in mind that the consistency of the batter should be such that it coats the vegetables and should not be too runny.

Plunge a couple of cuts of bread in the player.

Now, heat the pan on a medium flame and carefully place the bread with a spoon.

On low flame, sprinkle some oil around the edges.

After a few minutes, when the bottom is crispy and cooked through, flip it over and do the same for the other side till it turns golden brown.

Serve hot with green chutney and tea.
